Bodegas Tradición is the unique Jerez bodega to only bottle consistently genre-defining, very fully aged wines capable of pleasurably filling the senses. The wines receive no caramel, cooked-wine, fining, chill-filtration, cold stabilization, sulphites in the dry wines during maturation and bottling, nor blending between styles (Tradicion Cream excepted)...
In other words, the real thing, as it is backed up by many of the world's major wine critics. And like all the great wines, they are as splendid alone as they are with the right dishes, with food pairing potential way beyond a midwinter aperitif. The most important thing is to use ample glasses, such as Burgundy or Montrachet pattern, and enjoy.
Tradición. Genuine wines, purest styles
FOUNDED IN 1650
Tradicion was conceived in the late 1990s by a descendant of the oldest sherry house J.M. Rivero, dated 1650. Our bodegas are open for viewing by appointment, as is our considerable collection of Spanish grand master paintings.

SHERRY AT THE BERLINALE
This documentary from José Luis López Linares was played at the Berlinale Festival in Berlin during its 65th edition and within the “Culinary Cinema” section of the program.
This movie provides an insight of the wonders of sherry, because what we taste in a glass of sherry is not just wine, it is also the place, Jerez, and the people who make it possible, a must for wine lovers.
